Why This Exists.

This site is exactly what it sounds like. No rebranding. No softening for the algorithm. The name says everything.

I'm a Democrat. I've lived in Los Angeles long enough to know the difference between disagreement and delusion. And what MAGA has done to the Republican Party — to this country — crossed into delusion a long time ago.

What This Is.

This is a blog. My blog. Where I write about politics — specifically about the ongoing disaster that is the Trump-era Republican Party, its lies, its cruelty, its systematic assault on truth and democratic norms.

I'm not a journalist. I'm not a pundit. I'm a person with a brain, a keyboard, and a near-infinite supply of frustration.

What This Isn't.

This isn't a "both sides" website. I don't believe both sides are equally responsible for the state of American politics right now, and I won't pretend otherwise for the sake of appearing neutral.

This isn't hate speech. The name is provocative by design — it's meant to signal that I'm not going to sugarcoat my feelings about what's happening. Hating lies isn't wrong. Hating cruelty isn't wrong. Hating the deliberate destruction of democratic institutions isn't wrong.

If you're looking for measured, both-sides takes, there are a thousand other places on the internet for that. This isn't one of them.

Who I Am.

I'm Darrell. I live in Los Angeles. I've been building things on the internet for a long time. I've been paying attention to politics even longer.
